Etratech and the Earth

As Earth Day approaches – April 22 – we’re continuing our efforts to get greener at Etratech.  One recent accomplishment that makes us particularly proud is our recent achievement of ISO 14000 certification. Most of you are probably familiar with what that means, but for those who aren’t, this certification addresses various aspects of environmental management, including improving operations and processes to reduce negative effects on the environment.

At Etratech we aim to be environmentally conscious. These ISO standards will help us improve and revise our current practices.

If you’re a company with an on-premise manufacturing facility like we are, small changes can have a big impact. ISO 14001:2004 maps out the framework for us to follow in order to create an effective environmental management system. For us – and other companies like ours - benefits of ISO 14001:2004 could include:
  •  Reduced cost of waste management
  • Savings in energy and materials consumption
  •  Helping to reduce workplace pollution
  •  …and other economic benefits, too!

In the spirit of Earth Day – and really, every day – we’re dedicated to making difference. All of us at Etratech are fully on board with these efforts to be more environmentally-friendly. We hope you’re also embracing the spirit of the day and helping to make the world a little greener!
